Could you tell us where to find them? I am not sure how feasible this would be..but it might be fun to try to etch the name of the spice on the side...that way you would never have to worry about losing the sticker. Very cool...I definitely want to order two sets as well. You are definitely not helping my "no shop January"! ;-). Thanks for sharing!!!!!

Any spices that I can't buy at Trader Joe's I just put into the cleaned and empty spice jars. Now, all of my spices are in identical jars, and it didn't cost me anything!

Our microwave is above our stove.
He made a box, painted it black, added three shelves that hold 27 metal tins of spices, and recessed it into the allotted space.
I made labels on the computer using avery stickers and LOVE this little DYI project!!

They also come with round stickers that you can put either in the top of the bottom. I'm not sure if they are meant for the date information or not but that's what I used them for :)

That sounds dreamy! Leave it to a man to think you would never fill it. Ha! I'm sure everyone who sees it has kitchen envy :)

I forgot to mention that these jars come with round stickers that either can go on the top of the lid of the bottom. That would be a good place to write the date!

I didn't even think to look at Target! And that is nuts because I look there for just about everything else :)

It is 30" wide, 4" deep, and 6' tall. Two doors on top, two on the bottom, and adjustable shelves about every 5". All my spices are alphabetized. My cabinet maker insisted I'd never fill it, what a waste. Boy was he wrong! LOL

Thanks for the "fun find"! Also, for the previous comment about putting the expiration date on a sticker on the bottom, thanks for the great idea! Time DOES fly! Lol

How do you label your spices with the date of purchase? Sticker on the bottom? Time flies and I have found spices that were ... um... vintage. lol
Thanks!!!

I found some neat ones at Target this fall. They had two sided top openings which is nice. I like yours they are straight up and down very simple and clean. Nice!
