In reply to beverly e. I used a spray paint on another project and LOVED the color so I sprayed some on a piece of card stock and had them color match it at Home Depot. The spray paint color is called Italian Olive and is made by Krylon. Its their color maxx line.

In reply to Danita. It sounds fun! But I totally understand about having to help your spouse "see the vision". Maybe since paint is inexpensive, buy a quart and paint the area. Live with it and see if he likes it. Then maybe move on to wallpaper later if you find one you are in love with :)

I would love some accent wallpaper above our bed. I just can't convince my husband it's a good idea. Right now it's just white like the rest of the ceiling. But because it is part of the dormer I think it would look adorable in another color or print. What do you think? I love the accent wall and all the greenery you have in your bedroom. It's beautiful! As is all your furniture. Your bedding ideas are super too!

Oh my goodness! I love then new look! The black wall turned out so stunning. I was scared to do some black in my daughters room too, but love how it makes the space feel. And I love your linen bedding! Soo pretty. Nice job Stacy!
